Take a breath in nature
Pause to sit awhile
Rise up with the sunset
Greet it with a smile

Light is shortening slowly
Summer days are done
Greet the creeping darkness
As you hold the warmth of sun

And dance with spirit energy
As you reap the summer growth
And share the fruits of harvest
As the trees return to Earth

Time to pause and maybe rest
To re set and gather peace
And plant the seeds of new ideas
For next years Imbolc feast

Start closing doors and windows
Make cosy space inside
To share with friends and family
This approaching wintertide

And grow with strength and power
Standing bare feet on the ground
Embrace the dark and cold
With the spirit all around

Hold the hand of nature
Dance in full moon light
Feel the energy from the trees
Holding you safe and tight
