The price of what I wear

The ‘wear me once dress’

Never cost less

But

It’s costing our future

The carbon, the water

And yes,

It’s not fair

But

what you wear

Has a price of its own that will stifle the Earth

But for what it’s worth

We can get out of this mess

All you need is

LESS

Be like Patagonia

Who said

Don’t buy this new garment

Buy an old one Repair it

Jazz it up Share it

Don’t buy plastic

Fabrics from oil

They never degrade

And they tarnish the soil

And leach into the water

And

poison our soul

But look good and feel good if you visibly mend

Let’s buck the trend

F you polyester acrylic spandex and nylon

I won’t give you the

pleasure of even a try on

I’ll feel great in my second hand clothes

And my visible mends

will show that I chose

Sustainable fashion

Let’s use marketplace, EBay and Vinted

You don’t have to be minted

To buy that ‘wear me once dress’

And wear it again
