To a whole new vista

Gone were the long cycle rides

Glimpsing the wondrous countryside

Replaced by slow walks in nature

Learning about the birds and nature

Beginning to feel part of this world

Much more grounded

And our overwhelming love

Like two albatrosses that pass at the nest
