A frantic frolic through the high notes

Wings beat triple time

Their shrill sound dominates the landscape

Only beaten by

Corn Bunting

Perching high on branches

Wheezing like an asthmatic goat

Hoping to attract the most beautiful partner

One who welcomes wheeze obviously

But the treat the Downs gave me today

Was 3 Wheatears

Just hanging out after their long trip home from Africa

Proving, once again, that birds are superheroes

Only, they have wings, not capes
