Humans are destroying Earth

For what it’s worth

The Earth will survive

But we won’t be there

We have stripped her bare

Covered her with concrete

Piled her high with plastic

Stifled her diversity

Roasted and toasted She

So

Glaciers are melting

Species are declining

She is over heating

This is our emergency

Climate out of control

There will be no humans left on the Earth

Unless

we really care

Use less

Waste less

Share more

Care more

I want a messy garden

Where nature feels at home

I want wild and messy verges

And fields where animals roam

No pesticides

No herbicides

No peat

Lets eat

Less meat

And local

And sustainable

Let’s heat

with wind

and sun

And I, for one

Will fly less

Buy less

Car less

Will you
